ive got a i3
4gb ram
directx11
5670hd radeon
I think this is around the minimum to play bf3. I load the game slower then the rest but when you finally get the map loaded the gameplay is descent enough to play the game. By that i mean the game sucks me up totally, no stutter nor lag, no choke.....
gl on it mate, we miss your laugh.

Fun stuff - if you spend £200 more than Nem the question is whether to put the extra cash into a faster video card, SSD, or a bit of both.

What's your display resolution? 1920x1080 ? Maybe upgrade the graphics a bit and you can still afford an SSD. Borderline though - graphics is the main thing.

I upgraded recently, got an i5 2500k + heatsink, asus p67 mboard and a corsair force 3 120gb ssd. Cost about £470. (already got 8gb memory)

Also the next gen ATI (sorry AMD) cards are out next month so might be worth waiting until then for a vid card as the prices could drop - not sure if I'll be getting one yet. Will see what the prices are like and how much faster they are than my hd5870.

im pissed off at pc world, they said my ddr2 memory would fit in my new motherboard which says ddr3 on it. I asked the bloke that exact question and he said it would fit but it doesnt, bloody idiot. Think i have any right to complain, or is it just daft of me to listen to anything a pc world nobber has to say?
