Don't see why they dont change to an all or nothing security system. IE 30-32 digit key of random characters all cases numbers symbols etc. You use it like you would your WEP key or w/e, if someone tries to hack in, theres one chance to log in, you get it wrong network shuts down and has to be manually restarted from the router. Simple.

Because you would get idiots trying to connecting to your wireless with the wrong password to piss you off....

okay, I may ahve beena little severe, but like something maybe that blocks more login attempts? or maybe like iTunes, where you ahve to authorise an account and each connection can have an account authorised to a certain amount of PC's but each PC ahs to be allowed by a certain computer or something. just seems stupid to have liek a hash key for your whole internet security.

Unworkable - passwords are typed in wrong all the time. Also because of the nature of the beast - even the right password can be corrupt. This would make your wireless crap out without reason on a regular basis. Oh no! I just described what real wireless networking is like!! (well in the early years it was just like that)
