Arma2 crash/black screen

C2D E6400 @ 2.6GHz
8800GTS 320mb (OC'd)
4GB mem
Vista 64bit

I'm happily playing away for 5 or so mins, and then the screen goes black. If I press escape I get the "ArmA2 mouse pointer" up, and I'm not getting any error messages. I can still hear the music/soundeffects playing in the background.

I have the most up-to-date Nvidia drivers installed too.

I had a search on the BIS forums and none of the problems seemed to match my issues.

I have posted this on the BIS forums too.

Re: Arma2 crash/black screen

Eeek. Just a thought, does this happen repeatidly? Have you tried it from a cold boot, where the GPU might be cooler? Does it happen at a lower res and graphic detail? Im assuming that all other games work ok?

Just a thought.

Re: Arma2 crash/black screen

Turns out it was because I had overclocked my GFX card, put the settings back to stock and it's all good now.
