Wireless Lag Spikes

Hi guys (n gurls)

anyone offer some tips on lag spikes?

Im using a DLink Wireless G Desktop Adapter (DWL-G510) to connect to a wireless router DLink (DSL-26040B) connecting at 54mb with full signal strength but every 2mins or so I get a huge lag spike for a second.

Tried using windows and Dlinks own connection software but same result with both.

Any ideas?

Seems to be windows Shocking hey!

If anyone else suffers from lag spikes on their wireless but not on their wired connection try this thread, explains it rather well and points at many fixes.
