Hi All
Last year I got myself a new PC, its working fine but there is 1 wee thing that's annoying me
When I bought it I asked for it to come without out an OS (have XP Pro - it does me & I don't like Vista)
Unfortunately it came with a 'free' 14 day version of Vista, in the end I had to delete it & re-installed XP.
While installing it asks you to insert floppy with RAID drivers...........
My new PC doesn't have a floppy drive on it
I could rip a floppy drive out of an old PC but would I have to then re-install XP again? (if so I can't be arsed!)
Is it possible to install these drivers 'within' XP?
I like to have RAID as I've lost some stuff over the years through drives dying but have had 'most' of it backed up on to DVDs.
I've had a quick google about but there's a lot of faff about slipstreaming XP disks etc!!
Any ideas appreciated
Cheers
Andy

wack the drivers on a usb stick and plug that in before booting ya pc, see if it finds them, should do.
if not and you want to slip stream then use nlite
