Listening to the GnR discography and I have to say I'm a fan of Chinese Democracy. Also dug out Faith No More's Angel Dust and King For A Day, Fool For A Lifetime last night.

Lamb of God's new song - Contractor
it's heavier than what they're usually like, but still very much LoG
also been listening to a folky artist called Seth Lakeman. More pop influenced so might be worth giving a try even if you're not usually into folk.
Waylon Jennings son has made some pretty decent rock music. His name's Shooter Jennings, and his song 'This Ol' Wheel' is really quite catchy.
Finally, if you like a bit of dance and rave then you should check out 'Infinity' by the Guru Josh Project. It's quite well known though so i wouldn't be surprised if you all knew this one.
Some stuff to get you inspired!

yup, went to see them in cardiff about 2-3 years ago, insane. The guitarist weilding a flamethrower, taping rockets to the guy in a gimp suit, firing fireworks in the arena - brilliant. I can only imagine what it's going to be like at Download
