Lookin into this more and can't wait! Think i'll be xboxing it tho, for much smoother gaming and because ive decided plug and play is the way forward.

my mate had the demo and i tried it with bots and i have to say that its definately an improvement over L4D1, the levels are huge, the melee weapons kick ass, and there are so many challenges within it. It pretty much makes it impossible to sit in a corner and spam bash, which is what really brought the first game down IMO. and the characters are just as awesome as the whacky foursome in the first game. Looks like ill be getting this christmas

I wont be getting it, well not on the outset anyway. I just cant help but feel that the novilty will wear off after a month of having it. I didnt play the first game an awful lot after id done all the missions. It got repetative, but it is a lot of fun. However, the add-on campaigns are getting better, so I'm happy to stick to playing those as more and more come out and improve. There free too. However I really hope it is much better and exceeds your expectations to those of you that do get it.

I am loving this game!!!
Forget what everyone including me has said! This is a big upgrade to L4D. The weapons are fantastic, and the melee weapon selections are huge, from frying pans to guitars and everything in-between. The graphics are much improved, and the variety of zombies is hard to believe. All this and it just seems more polished as a game.
I'm awaiting for the full game to be unlocked in steam, and i'm playing the demo just now. I need some friends to join me
This is worth every penny for £20.00. Everyone get 3 other friends and buy the box deal!!!! It is the way to go.

But whats to say, L4D 3 doesnt appear, this time, in 6 months time... lol Still feel us that have L4D should be eligable for a discount really on L4D2. I'll see anyway.... I still wont be getting straight away tho.
