yea the HTC's are really good quality and stable. I think smartphones in general are quiet bad on the old battery life. The android system is not worth it yet. But give it till my next upgrade and ill be going HTC/Android for sure :)

*and i just found bubbles is installed on my phone by standard haha*

We had a number of HTS's... mostly being the S730's or V1415. The issues we had were simply build quality. Buttons and screens were really badly made. At the time they were all Windows Mobile, which seemed to do the job, but very slowly. They might of improved the handsets in build quality now, but in our opinion the damage has already been done and we moved to BB.

Im looking at getting an Iphone 3Gs for one of my Directors...

But as were on Vodafone, getting a SIM free device has quite a few problems. Unlocking them might work, but if you update it it re-locks the device, and voids the warranty and some features might not work properly either. You can apparently get them "legally" from Italy, as there sold SIM free there, but the cost is enourmous... around £800 +

Anyway, I got this link from one of our blackberry forums over the weekend... Might be worth bearing in mind for those of you with Iphone 3Gs...

I've read that article and it requires physical access to the device rather than remotely which means you have to have either lost it or had it stolen.

As for BB's I'm not impressed with them at all, they dont offer as much as other smartphones in my opinion and the BB Bold is flakey and I've had 3 out 9 phones purchased less than 3 months ago returned faulty!

- no bluetoothing files.

- does not allow you to download your vids from itunes to your phone, even though you paid for them , and the iPhone has a video player
- $84 to have your battery replaced
- you cannot use a generic usb charger, iPhones are wired slightly differently.
- Phone needs to be reactivated every now and then, and takes ages to do.
- if you are using your iPhone on pay and go, you have to pay for software updates
etc.. etc..

Incorrect iPhones do MMS as from update 3.0:

MMS is rather useless anyway, I've never used it on any phone I've had nor do I ever intend to do so in the future.
