Best of luck on your application, really enjoyed playing battlefield with you so far. Hopefully see you on the bettlefield soon and in CS too!
Also, best of luck in June and congradulations on the child(ren)! Don't let the rascal(s) drag you away from the PC too much!
As for the tactics training; think it could be an idea though if you're a fan of CS then I'd think it'd be more usefull there. Think it would be more usefull in a more skill reliant game. Having said that though no reason not to do it in either or both. Always fun playing.
