Aliens: Colonial Marines

Anyone picking this game up? I've had it on pre-order and it's released tonight.

It's got some very L4D-style looking multiplayer, 4 marines vs 4 aliens - what look like spitters, chargers, boomers etc. Could be interesting!

Yeah, it's quite honestly unbelievable how bad it is. It turns out lots of the preview footage from last year (that looked good) wasn't even in the game.

My high hopes were smashed.

I pre-ordered when, I'm pretty sure, it was supposed to be good. I don't know, maybe I was drunk. That's as good an excuse as any....

Lesson learned. Should have cancelled the moment I realised there was a release day review embargo.

seems like there was a shit load of trouble down old mill during production.

thankfully gearbox finsihed borderlands 2 well and were right not to focus on this pile of poo
