The cars certainly aren't as pretty, but it looks to be a very good season ahead. Hopefully see some strong cars from McLaren, Ferrari, Lotus and Merc, so as to take the challenge to Red Bull. As long as they have 'Merlin' (Adrian Newey) their drivers will be flattered.
I couldn't wait for someone to do a proper Wallpaper, so I quickly did my own of the new Lotus E20 2012. Original image from F1ZONE.net. Simple but fairly effective. Almost has a 3D effect on my desktop.

Touring cars so much more exiting to watch
Re: 2012 Formula 1 season
God that car looks to have 15" rear wheels or less!
Looks awful.
I love touring cars too..... Back on subject though, Red Bull has the stepped nose too just as all the other teams. So the question is, has McLaren found a better advantage in having a lower chassis and standard nose, or missed the sweet spot?
Oh, and does the Red Bull have an intake at the bottom of their step in the nose cone?

Did another desktop edit of a good picture. Focusing the colour on Di Resta and BW the rest for contrast with Icons.
