Re: Wifi-ish question.
We cant really help with this groinshot - if your friend does what is stated above then he should be able to find the knowledge to set this up, but I can not come from this forum - end ofsells pictures of bands and things to newspapers for a living, and because of how long it can take to get sorted with photographs, photoshopping them and things, hes missing out on sales
Sorry

Re: Wifi-ish question.
I get the idea and its a good one too.
Photographer at live shoot wants to sell images to papers/mag/agents asap beating the hundred of others out there doing the same thing.
One set your camera up to beam images to a FTP/Web server
Two set up web/FTP server for passworded access
Three use account software to charge per download
Four hope some one uses it.
Its a great idea, but the system your looking at 'seems' to be based on managing a number of photographers on a shoot and browsing what they are taking and quickly selling on the best ones.
I think you need to talk to the sales people about it and ask on a few photography freelance forums.
Now if its the other end of stuff you need these!

Thanx thundercat-pretty much what I was on about in a nutshell, except, for the last two steps. Set up the camera, beam them to the netZ onto an FTP.
then
Someone who is on laptop, has access to the FTP, to photoshop the pics, and then get them sold, but essentially thats the idea. Im just wondering how the setup would work for the first step!
