This is the first Release Candidate - so basically the one coming out in October less a couple of updates.
To all who have been beta testing (I have been since build 7000) you get the operating system for free till March 1st 2010 at which point your PC will start shutting down every 2hrs and then on June 1st won't log you in at all unless you buy a product key.

does that mean u'll have to reformat your pc with XP disk if u dont buy the $30000000000000 its gonna cost for windows 7?
Get onto a local college do a small it course and get a MSDNAA subscription will cost you nothing for 7 then Cant wait till i get my hands on this beast... tho it does mean waiting a day for visual studio to install on the laptop again :/ *great*
