Re: Computer problem.
If you have upgraded your gfc card and you have a weak PSU, then it could be that. Check the PSU is suitable for the output needed for the gxf card.

Re: Computer problem.
It could be any number of things. Sometimes heat, or a power issue on one of the rails, or hard drive issues. Have you tried dumbing down the cs settings, such as graphics settings to see if you get a longer period before it dies. How does it die? Does it just quit cs and back to desktop or does it ...

Re: Upgrade or New build dilemna
Performance would improve, but like you say, it would be a limited increase. In your situation, I would try to get all the parts in one go or at least plan to get all the parts eventually, over a period of weeks. You could get the GFX card now and then maybe in a while get the mainboard and CPU and ...

Re: Upgrade or New build dilemna
Its a lovely card, esp as its DDR5, but think its been superceeded now by another model, as stock is hard to come by. But I would say, any 4870 Card is good, as long as its DDR5. Get a Gig one if you can... With regards to any component, I would suggest you "track" your desired item. For e...

E-reciepts suck when they get deleted, and you have no proof that you paid for the game.

Sounds good... ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
But whats to say, L4D 3 doesnt appear, this time, in 6 months time... lol
Still feel us that have L4D should be eligable for a discount really on L4D2. I'll see anyway.... I still wont be getting straight away tho.

Re: Left 4 Dead 2
I wont be getting it, well not on the outset anyway. I just cant help but feel that the novilty will wear off after a month of having it. I didnt play the first game an awful lot after id done all the missions. It got repetative, but it is a lot of fun. However, the add-on campaigns are getting bett...

Re: RAID
Its actually quite simple once you do it a few times, so I know what you mean if you havent done it before. Its all pretty much done ( depending on your mainboard ) from a setting just after the bios. Some call it a RAID Utility which is a secondary option when you boot the PC. You basically add the...

I have had this happen to be once. It is where the registry blob file gets completely borked and upsets parts in the registry I think. It happend to me during a failed update or when HL crashed, one of the two. I couldnt close steam down in the process and had to terminate the application. I then tr...

Re: Hammer Editor (CS:S) problem
When you say it worked yesterday, was that on the same map etc?
Does it do it if you create a different map? Perhaps try it with a simple example map and see if that works?
Maybe you have changed a directory name or something. Im sure the answer will come.
