Red Dead Redemption
Was talking to a hard gamer mate at work yesterday, who highly recommended this Red Dead Redemption. Apparently its only on the consoles atm, but should be coming out on the PC. ( when though, seems to be the big question) Official Trailer: http://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption/agegate/ref=...
Re: TF2
Yea, im with Slarty, I used to play it too, the original was great, but tbh, only for a laugh to break away from CS & DoD for a while. TF2 changed quite a lot and it never really made the same impression on me. We never restored the TF2 server after the server box upgrade and rebuild last year, ...

Agree, if its been well looked after, and hasnt been melted down from OC or heating, then could be worth a shot.
You could always sell it on later and get some cash back for it, in say 6 months time etc.

Re: Need a bit of help here..
I very much suspect, its what you have pointed out allready, the Gfx card. It does depend on what edition that is of course, but I thnk, that card you have is below the min spec. I dont know exactly without looking it up. The min specs for bc2 are: Minimum Frostbite PC Specifications for BFBC2 &...

Re: STEAM PROBLEM !!
Hmm.
Strange, ive had no issues, but then ive been on the beta since it was released.
Have you raised a support ticket with Steam? Try checking your password or getting it reset? Can you play in offline mode, or does it just not allow you to log in at all?

Re: PSU
You dont need a large PSU if you do your math right on the spec you decide to design. You can work it out by the components you run what you need. I was hoping Zalman might do a 600-650w, or something along these lines: http://www.eclipsecomputers.com/product.aspx?code=PSZ-600HP http://www.eclipseco...

When times are tough, I think back to happy times.... Today, whilst looking though the square window, I was thinking... Up above the streets and houses, Rainbow climbing high, Everyone can see it smiling Over the sky. Paint the whole world with a rainbow. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/common...

Re: PSU
Thing with mine is , that its an Antec 750, ( dont have the spec at hand atm ), but that was sold and advertised as silent or quiet, but as the months have gone on, im fairly sure its got a little louder, I can hear it all the time when the room is quiet. Do you get any of that image bleeding if you look at it from a different angle or is it spot on regardless where you view?

Re: Who would recomend this for the start of a new build PC
You also might want to think about upgrading your operating system, if you havent already considered it for yoru new build to Windows 7, 64 Bit. This will help unleash some of the power of your hardware better.

Re: Who would recomend this for the start of a new build PC
Yea, I think you need to take a bit of time to come up with a PLAN of action. I avoid bundles, as these tend to be end of line products. Plus as Schlack has pointed out, you need DDR3 really. Have a good hunt on the net and check out the posts on this forum. Bambam has recently upgraded, so check ou...
