Re: JBlackmane's Request to be an OFC
Best of luck on your application, really enjoyed playing battlefield with you so far. Hopefully see you on the bettlefield soon and in CS too! Also, best of luck in June and congradulations on the child(ren)! Don't let the rascal(s) drag you away from the PC too much! As for the tactics training; th...

Re: Ultimate gaming mouse?
I've heard a lot of good things about the RAT 5 and 7 and a lot of bad things. The mouse doesn't seem to be too good for FPS gaming but plays well for strategy games and the like. However, I've never used one for a longer period of time, though initial impressions wern't decent. At the end of the da...

Re: Updating my PC for BFBC3
Agree with BamBam. A new GPU will make SO much difference as you already have a nice amount of RAM and a decent CPU. However I don't think you'd be able to put a much more powerful GPU in without buying a new PSU. Good thing about this though is if you get both then in a few months or so maybe you c...

Re: Quake anyone?
Quake 1 was the original No shit! hahaha Nah, I'm kidding. Yeah, I remember LANing on it years ago. Great fun, though the controls ( the ones Slartie uses ) are messed up! I reckon Quake 2 was the best though, and Quake Live is still pretty good fun. It's also free has almost no demand from your PC...

Re: Miracle diet beer
I think there is something to this diet choice. One thing is missing though. The beer must be cold. As we all know, it takes 1 calorie to heat 1 gram of water 1 degree centigrade. Translated into meaningful terms, this means that if you drink a very cold pint ( which generally consists of water in l...

Re: Quake anyone?
No, Quake doesn't have voice comms. Use of the TS3 server would be ideal for banter though as quake doesn't have too many tactics to it in the deathmatch/ TDM modes. Though Capture the flag and clan death match are possible options. Usually it's just a case of get a good stack ( weapons, ammo, healt...

Quake anyone?
So I had been eyeing up Quake 3 Team Arena on steam for a while when a friend pointed this out to me; http://www.quakelive.com/#!home Quake Live. It's been around for years apparently so sorry if I'm stating the obvious and bringing up old news. Anyway, it's a completely free version of Quake 3 that...
