It's out on Oct 22nd, although it has already been RTM'd. I get my copy on August 6th with my MSDN sub :)

Heh... but £90 for a 30gb is the cheapest I've seen for any SSD, and that's plenty space for Windows and CSS ;)

I'm actually quite glad about this. Every upgraded computer I've ever seen has been fraught with problems, and ultimately had to be reformatted and put a clean version on anyway. Pro versions are always worth it IMO otherwise you are really restricted when it comes to networking. I know phone activation is a pain but to be honest it only takes 5 mins and I've never been questioned (have had to do it a LOT of times due to hardware reconfigurations on my various computers and ...

They are very affordable and made by a company well known for performance hardware. Haven't got one yet but am planning on as soon as I can afford ;)

Been using Sun VirtualBox lately for my IE6 test machine, works really well, has a desktop hybrid mode (so virtual apps float over your normal desktop) and supports x64.
