Re: Amnesia The Dark Descent
There is a demo on steam I think if you want to try it out It can be a great game given the right conditions and mind set. At the start of the game it'll tell you the ideal conditions to play the game in (darkened room, headset to block out all outside sound etc.) and I recommend you follow them. Am...

Re: New games for 2011
I think Brink will be the best multiplayer shooter of the year (unless Battlefield 3 make a suprise appearance) Bulletstorm and Rage are two games I like the look of but I'm undecided yet, they could go eitherway LA Noire could be really good with branching storylines based on your decisions and con...

UT is really good fun in short bursts
I liked OFP:DR but as Gav said needed more players, think I've still got it installed

Re: fallout vagas ?
For the most part I’d disagree with the RPS review Just so you know where I'm coming from with this, Fallout 1 + 2 are my all time favourite games. I enjoyed Fallout 3 but not for any of the reasons that I enjoyed the first two so I was disappointed with it over all. Fallout: New Vegas is very close...

Re: Valve update for TF2 includes Micro transactions.
All I can say is, in the politest possible way, Jesus titty-f*cking Christ i gotta make me some crocodile hats... "Five TF2 community members—Rob Laro, Shawn Spetch, Steven Skidmore, Spencer Kern, and Shaylyn Hamm—created new items for the game ranging from crocodile hats to jars of milk to sle...

Re: fallout vagas ?
New Vegas won't explicitly guide you from start to finish as the main story is very open ended and non-linear, it will require some investigation and exploration. However, when you pick up any quest (of which there are a ton) the objectives will be marked on your map and your compas can track them. ...

Re: Valve update for TF2 includes Micro transactions.
Generally I don't like micro transactions either. But if they're going to do it I think this is the right way because of these two things: Our main goal was to make sure that all game play affecting items are findable, so that no-one can buy an in-game advantage over someone who’s choosing to find t...

Re: MoH bata
I managed to get a key from else where a few weeks back. To be honest I wasn't very impressed. It's halfway between CoD and BF but losing the pace of CoD and the intensity/teamwork of BF and was just quite dull. Could have just been the map and the fact it was early beta though. I've still got the g...
